La Histiocitosis de Langerhans de la vulva es poco frecuente, pocos casos han sido reportados a nivel mundial. Es el primer caso reportado en el Hospital de Cáncer - SOLCA Guayaquil. En este artículo se presentan la características clínicas, histopatología, inmunotinciones, tratamientos y recurrencias del caso. Inicialmente
fue tratada con Vinblastina logrando una remisión completa por 8 semanas, luego de lo cual aparecen recurrencias de la enfermedad. Estas fueron tratadas con diferentes esquemas de quimioterapia con resultados no exitosos. La paciente ha rechazado la
radioterapia por varias ocasiones. El tratamiento óptimo en este caso no está
totalmente definido, por tanto, es importante la cooperación del paciente para poder optar por otras opciones de tratamiento.

Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis of the vulva is rare. Few cases have been reported worldwide. We report the first case of this disease in SOLCA Cancer Hospital - Guayaquil. In this article we present the clinical features, histopathology, immunostaining, treatment and recurrence of this case. At the beginning it was treated with Vinblastine obtaining complete remission but 8 weeks after, a recurrence of the disease appeared and it has been treated with different chemotherapy modalities but with poor results. The patient has rejected radiotherapy several times. So far the best treatment it has not been defined yet, so it is important to have cooperation from patients in order to apply different treatment modalities.
