Se revisaron 24 pacientes con diagnóstico de Rabdomiosarcoma entre 1990 y 1997, encontrando 14 pacientes varones afectados, siendo más frecuente entre el 1 y los 3 años de edad. El 37% de los pacientes tuvieron presentaciones en el sistema genito-urinario y en la cabeza.

El 62% de los pacientes tuvieron Rabdomiosarcoma Embrionario como presentación histológica más frecuente. Hubo 13 pacientes que abandonaron la terapia, además de 6 que fallecieron y 5 pacientes están vivos luego de haber recibido tratamiento.

24 patients with diagnostic of rabdomiosarcoma were admitted to ION SOLCA Guayaquil between 1990-1997, 14 were male, and the most frecuent age was between 1 and 3 year  old. In 37% of the patients the tumor was found in the genital-urinary system as well as the head.

62% of the patients had Embrionary rabdomiosarcoma as the most frecuent  hystological presentation. 13 patients abandoned therapy, 6 patients died and 5 are  alive after receiving multiple treatment.
