En este artículo se examinara un conjunto de criterios o normas pertinentes a las decisiones que debe tener el médico clínico ante un enfermo que enfrenta inevitablemente la muerte.

Estas normas tienen su fundamento y son expresiones de los principios bioéticos generales de respeto por la vida y los derechos humanos, los de beneficencia, no maleficencia, autonomía y justicia.

This article will examine a set of criteria or standards to decisions that the clinician should have when treating a patient facing inevitable death.  These rules have a basis and express the principles of general bioethical of respect for life and human
rights, beneficence, non-maleficence, autonomy  and justice.
