The Society for Fighting Against Cancer in Ecuador (SOLCA) was founded in 1951 for the prevention and control of cancer. SOLCA´s symbol is the  "Lance" in the hands of St George killing the dragon. The Lance of cancer control is early detection, treatment and rehabilitation.
